Seeding of the fields is done in late

Sod Farms, DOES NOT put any
plastic mesh netting on the fields after seeding is done.
The sod is pulled up (harvested) using a HarveStack
automatic sod harvester developed by Trebro Manufacturing,
Inc. The harvester is programmed to cut the sod in strips that
measure 2 feet wide by 5 feet long (10 square feet) then roll
the strip up for easier handling and to load 54 strips (rolls)
onto a wooden pallet. Each roll can weigh anywhere from 15 to
35 pounds depending on dry or wet soil conditions during
harvesting. There is a pallet deposit for each
wooden pallet used for your order. Deposit money refunded upon
return of the pallet in good useable condition.
